Denise's Story
Life
High school was so long ago!! I finished university and worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for several years.
Just after university I became a Christian! (It may have seemed to some that I was a believer before this..but there is a huge difference when the truths of God's Word are really applied to one's life [as in 1 John chapter 1]). After becoming a believer, everything changed in my life! -- I continued working as a nurse, but with different motives and goals.
Then, within a couple of years, God's direction was to go outside my own culture. This began a path of...Expand for more
life which has been surprising!! By now, there has been one year of Seminary training, three years in Russia studying the Russian language and teaching Bible and eleven years all total in the Middle East !! These last nine years I've been working with Russian speakers. I have a great job serving behind-the-scenes in a Russian speaking congregation in a city near Tel Aviv.
Well, that's thirty years of a busy, rewarding, joy-filled, life condensed into just a few paragraphs!
I still list my Stateside address as my mom's address in Folkston. She will always know where to find me!
