dennis's Story
I left Texas in 1983 and headed to southern California where I lived for 18 years. I was a chef in the San Diego north county beach areas and had a great time and a good career. I again grew restless and when my father grew ill moved to Virginia for the first time, then lived in Tennessee for a year. he passed away. I met my Ex wife Tonya at that time and we then moved back to Texas in 2004 and lived in the Boerne area for 2 years but Virginia has always drawn my love and attention so me and Tonya moved back to Virginia and I got a job at the local hospital as a dietary supervisor. Me and Tonya divorced but I still live here in the beautiful Appalachian coal town of Richlands Va. I love it here it reminds me of what Schertz used to be as a small town.
