Dennis's Story
After graduating from North I attended Omaha University for a year then I volunteered for the Air Force. There I spent four years and met my future wife which is my biggest accomplishment to date. I returned to UNO and worked at Safeway Stores Bakery at 11th and Davenport. I was promoted to management in 1972 and moved to Oklahoma City and then to Kansas City. I was with Safeway for 28 years until a takeover closed us down. I have since held management positions in Swift-Echrich,Wonder Bread, and presently Cook's Spiral Hams. n the military in Shreveport, Louisiana. I have two children and two grandchildren. I am extremely happy with my family situation. When I was in high school I never dreamed I could be this happy with the sedate life I am leading. All of my outside time is spent doing family things and I couldn't be more happier. Life has been extremely good to me. I hope all my past friends are as happy with their life as I am with mine. There were so many great people at North. I am very grateful that I was at this place and at this time with these people. Wonderful times and wonderful memories!
