Life Lived on Ayliff Rd in Landsdale/Azaela Garden Apts. Played for the Landsdale Scorpions community baseball team. Attended Pine Ridge & Chesterfield Heights Elem and Norview Jr. and Sr. High Schools. I left school ran away from home for the last time and joined the Air Force in 1961. Took basic training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, Communications Center Technical School at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls,TX then back to SA, TX for another Communication School.. After Tech Schools, I was stationed near Kaiserslautern, Germany at 603rd AC&W Sq. Langerkopf from 1961-1965. Saw most of Europe during that time....it was great.. Re-assigned to Langley AFB at Hampton, VA and was honorably discharged in 1966, served one year inactive reserves and completely out in 1967. Traveled the country extensively landing in Reno, NV where I attended the University of Nevada majoring in electronics. Was married twice...single now... I found my way back to Norfolk and worked as an Aircraft Electrician at the Naval Air Station for about 5 years. Involved in Aerospace Workers Union and was on the Norfolk Union Labor Council .. In 1972, I relocated to FL and lived there for some 35 years working at many jobs including Truck Driver, General Contracto...Expand for more
