Dennis's Story
Life
Well I guess it's time to do an update. today is 4/10/2010. I have just celebrated my 60th birthday like many of my classmates this year.I am currently one of the unemployed statistics, Obama's displaced workers. I hope there are enough of you out there still working to help support me. I was previously working at a lumber dealership in Columbus, Oh. until 1/31/10.
I did have the pleasure of seeing my newest grandson on the 8th. Young Colin James Burns seems like a quite young man. The only problem I for see is that his father is a loyal Michigan supporter and a Detroit Tiger fan. I did get Colin to respond IO when I wispered OH in his year.
I do have 2 other grandchildren, a girl 8 and a boy 6. They also suffer the same handicap of having a Michigan father. I just don't know what my daughters were drinking. Anyway it creates a lot of fun.
Our current daughter (by marriage) has just gotten her drivers license and within 48 hours was in an accident, no fault of hers, thankfully. No injuries either.
As for family life I have been happily remarried now for over 5 years after a 6 year stint as a bachelor. Cindy has a 13 year old daughter whom I've grown to love, but it is very different being a "step" dad as opposed to Dad. I'm sure there are some of you out there who understand what I mean.

Kate and her school activities. Oh, those wonderful high school years.Update now licenced, thinking out loud about her NEED for her own car!!!!!! Cindy works for the Richland County_Mansfiled Public Library. What time is left usually goes to our 3 cats. We originaly started with 5 but due to a power struggle we gave up 2 of them.
School
Man, some of my greatest memories were standing on the corner of Sandusky and Mary St. rolling those bratwursts and catching all the kids doing laps every weekend. Cars, chrome, and chicks. Some of the best and hottest cars in Crawford county and I didn't have to spend a cent on gas!!!! Other great memories were working in the high school library and getting in trouble for not having a hall pass. But my biggest thrill/honor probably was getting chosen for Honor Society. I hope that doesn't sound haughty, because it was something that I worked hard for and never thought I could attain. I remember a lot of the Saturday night parties during basketball season, hitting everyone's house, and doing al night monopoly games with "our gang".
My biggest and secret crush was a red head 2 years ahead of me, Linda K. (class of 1966)
I really enjoyed high school but I don't think I would want to do it again way too many distractions today.
I have many fond memories of lots of people and events.
