Life
My Pets
I always was an animal lover but here I am with quite a company of cats...8 to be exact...not to mention 1 guinea pig and 1 fish.
My Job
I taught primary grades in the Los Angeles area and in northern Virginia...currently I teach Kindergarten in L.A.
Family
Currently, I am in a committed relationship headed towards...well, that remains to be seen. I am not in any hurry to get married. But, if it comes, wonderful! I do not have any children of my own. Again, I am not in any hurry to have any, although that clock's ticking is getting louder.
I still visit my family in Everett about once ...Expand for more
a year so I still have connections to western Washington.
Career
I received my degree in education from WSU in 1987. (It took me some time to get through, for sure). I moved to L.A. in 1989. I was not sure I was ever going to be a "Californian" but the climate and career agreed with me so I stayed. I received my master's in Educational Technology in 1995 from Azusa Pacific Univ. After 9 years, I was getting burned out so, to try something different, I moved to Virginia. 2 years was enough there before coming back home to CA. I don't know if I will live here forever but, for now, it suits me just fine.
