Life
It's been a real adventure since HS and keeps getting better even through all the storms of life.
Workplace
After thinking about a career with the NC State Patrol I got into construction work waiting for my acceptance. And eventually got into residential electrical work in Raleigh. I was with a small company for about 2 years before I quit and went to work for Lanehart Electric in Apex. I got my NC electrical license in Sept of 95 and started as an electrical mechanic in Nov. of 95, and by July of 96 I was promoted to field supervisor. i got my NC Masters License i...Expand for more
n Sept of 98 and by Jan of 99 I was promoted to division construction manager and in Jan of 2003 I got my Master electrical license in Virginia and was made vice president/ partner and general manager of Washington Lanehart Electric of the DC Metro area in Virginia.
Military
Joined the NC National Guard in 89. Went to Basic and Military Police school in the summer of 90, was called in for Desert Storm, Went back reserve status after that. Served out the remainder of my enlistment with the 514th MP Co. as the companies rifle team co-captain and shooter until my ets in 96.
