Derrick's Story
When I left high school, I attended Lakehead University, then moved to Alberta where I graduated from the UofA,
Moved to BC where I worked in the forest industry. Moved back to Alberta when I was 60 and took a degree in Environmental Resource Management. Left Alberta for the Republique of Guinea in West Africa where I worked as the Environmental Field Specialist on a railway project. Came back to Canada, took a job at Keeyask, MB. Christmas 2015 was -38C, thought I should retire. Went to Belize, came back to BC, for a summer job on a pipeline in Dawson Creek.
Who knows what the future holds other than death.
Took a rail journey from Vladivostok to Moscow in January, 2020
Stuck at the house in Creston, BC until Chi-Na virus blows over.
