Grew up in Echo Park (CA) before the gentrification but also lived in Baldwin Park for a couple of years. Mother to twin boys and an awesome stepson. Made my life long dream come true and became a Bruin. Will always be a Chicana activist no matter what path of life I am on. Teach English Language Arts. Believe we should all live our lives to set examples. Unfortunately, some set examples of what NOT to do. Hoping to counteract the what nots as a teacher.
