Desiree's Story
Life
I currently live in Dallas. I've been married for 28 years. We have three children aged 32, 27 and 24, one daughter-in-law and a grandson aged 9 years. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 29 years and I currently work for Richardson Independent School District. My husband Wilbur is a prominent actor here in Dallas. Our oldest son, Chris is working for General Dynamics. Our middle son, Ken works as a contract analyst in Richardson and our daughter, Laurel is beginning her career as a dancer/actress here and in Austin.

re together there is never a dull moment. There is always laughter, dancing, singing or movie making!
In my early life, my parents encouraged individual thinking and problem solving, which we in turn encouraged in our children. I had great exposure to different ways of thinking and world experience which helped me immensely in my adult life and the profession I chose.
My greatest memory as a child was riding my bike and exploring all over Greenville. My worse memory growing up was being chastized by black acquaintances for not being black enough during the period of integration.
My best friends growning up: Barbara, Denise, Charlotte, Shelley, Tony, Doug, Paul. My favorite teachers were Mrs. Williams, Drama Teacher and Mrs. Baker, Senior Advanced English Teacher.
