Devon's Story
Life
I hung out in the Music Dept., played or sang in all the bands and still write songs in my recording studio at home. I served as a Firefighter with the City of Detroit Fire Dept. for 13 years and retired with a duty disablity. Assisted wife with her newly opened real estate office in Garden City, MI(2003-present) that she brokers. We moved to Westland after 2 years and now are located on Wayne Road just north of Michigan Ave.

The most rewarding jobs I had were working as a direct care worker/staff, Firefighter(Detroit) and Real Estate Agent/Appraiser. In the direct care I worked in several Group homes with the developmentally disabled. It wasn't much pay but it showed me how fortunate I was. In the Fire Dept I had the opportunity of saving lives on several occasions and receiving citations. In the real estate industry I was able the help people buy their first home.
