DeVona's Story

Well, I started out in Hacienda Hts at Palm Elementry, then moved on to Covina and attended Sierra Vista Jr High, then off again to Huntington Beach where I ended up at HBHS.. Ended up marrying my Jr High sweetheart, Gary Weisz, we had a beautiful baby girl, Erica, who will turn 39 this July.. WOW!! Time moved forward and so did I, Gary & I divorced, I fell in love and married again to Steve Brebes, we lived in Anaheim for a few years had another beautiful daughter, Amber..then headed out to wild Norco, the cowboy country of Southern Cali. Had 3 horses, stable & all, yeeha! That was an interesting time, yet once again, the tables turn and I find myself single yet again... Back to Anaheim I go.. It was the disco era and I was having the time of my life! Met a musician, it was a whirlwind romance, and it changed me forever. I was now sucked int...Expand for more
o the life & times of musicians, and have never been able to let go. I married Tony Bellamy, the original guitarist for the group Redbone, an all american indian group that became really popular in the 70's with their number 1 hit, "Come and get your Love".. It was an exciting and dangeous lifestyle. After years of trying, we finally gave birth to a beautiful little boy, Michael Anthony (Lil Tony).. All my children are grown an living on their own, I currently have 5 grandkids, and Im sure there will be more to come one day.. I am once again single, and dating, yes... another musician (it's under my skin like a drug) LOL! My life is full & blessed.. I love hearing for old classmates and catching up.. Time slips away too fast... I have recently ended up back in HB on the block I lived when I was in high school, it feels great to be "home"... .
