Dewayne's Story

Life Does anyone else think that it's funny in the "Q&A" section on here there is a question: Male or Female. Then after you answer it and go back and look, you can change your answer. Either that is a sign of the times or just bad website planning! I was married for 15 years, divorced for almost 6, then remarried in March 2008. My wife LaDonna and I have been on 4 cruises in the last 16 months! That's what we like to do. She has three beautiful daughters that I totally adore! Add them to my three kids and we are one boy shy of the Brady Bunch! Mostly just lovin' life now! I've settled in NWA after being medically retired from the Air Force. Had a great career in the AF and loved almost every minute of it. I'd love to hear from anyone who cares to drop me a line! School HS was OK. I was Drum Major of the band and pretty much all my HS activities revolved around the band room. I got a music schol...Expand for more
arship and wasted that by neglecting my classes at UCA. Never went back, but wish I would get off my butt and do it! College Too much party...not enough study! Made lots of temporary friends. Now I don't know where any of them are! Workplace Lots of military stuff. Loved it. Now I'm the Controller of my family's staffing company. Love it too. I've had lots of luck with work! Military I loved the military and think it should be required for everybody. Give your country at least 2 years and then go to school and protest whatever you feel like protesting. As corny as it sounds, my military experience gave me a much deeper love for America. I had only planned on 4 years but stayed in till I retired. Lowrey AFB (Denver, CO) for Tech School. Little Rock AFB for 6 years. Rhein Main AB (Germany) for 3 years. Altus AFB (Altus, OK) for 2 years. Europe was great, but I don't know what they are thinking these days!
