Life
Hey everyone. I graduated from Transylvania University in May of 2000. While I was there, I was Student Government President. Pretty exciting for an old band nerd....anyways, I moved to Urbana IL with my wife Bridget while she worked towards her PhD at the University of Illinois. I loved my job, teaching 6-8th grade social studies at a Catholic school in Danville, IL. We bought a house in Urbana just before our wedding in Aug 2001, and I was continually fixing something. g at Mercer University in Macon, Ga. Back to the land of grease, Mayfield Ice Cream, Braves baseball, and the SEC! We have a bigger, newer house (nothing to fix...), and I still teach. I started teaching at a public school. It was much different (and harder) than the Catholic school I taught at in IL, but the pay was much better. In 2007, I moved to another private school in Macon. The kids are wonderful, albeit nosey (right Floyd).
In May 2007 Bridget and I welcomed our son, Jacob, into our lives. He is a constant source of enjoyment, and he's growing and changing each day.
