Dian's Story
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old and boring. I was so completely wrong.
If I could do anything over I would change nothing, every mistake I have made led me to where I am now.
In 10 years, I hope to be Retired and traveling. I'm going to get there by saving & investing so I can travel more.
My oldest friend is Tammy Samagaio (previously Billups). We first met in Psychology and we clicked. We then worked together at the convalescent home and we clicked because we were both good at our jobs and because we were different. We complimented each others personalities. This is still true, we have been friends for 42 years.
My high school classmates would probably be most surprised that I am no longer shy but they would not be surprised that I am still not going to be the life of the party.
My first job was at Woodland Convelescent, where I got paid 2.90 hr to take care of elderly patients. What I remember most about it is talking to them and learning all about the histories of their time. I also remember hanging with Tam...Expand for more

It sounds cliche but my hero is my mom; I admire her for all the things she taught herself and her loving ways. She (and my dad) have always been there for me.
I love baseball and can watch any game on T.V. but I mostly like watching the Detroit Tigers. I do indulge in reality T.V. a bit; I like Survivor. I currently have no pets but when I retire I will try to get a puppy. I really do love dogs (my boyfriend doesn't). I am not really obsessed with anything but I guess I do love scarves and shoes.
I have found that I love to shop when I am stressed. I thought our senior year was going to be one of the most unique with Mt. St Helens blowing its top, but the 2020 seniors have an experience that none of us will forget.
I have learned alot from my daughters. Each one of them different but so enjoyable. I learned what true love is the moment my first daughter was born and have enjoyed every moment (okay maybe not some of those teen years). I now have seven grandchildren + two bonus grandkids from my partner Joe and hope I have set a good example of motherhood.
