Diana's Story
Life
Well, lots have happened in my life since graduating. I met my husband at Picatinny. He was in the US Army stationed at Picatinny. We were married in '82 and started a wonderful life. We had two beautiful boys, who are now 22 and 24. How time flys. We purchased our dream house to retire in when he left the Army in '93. Well, life throws you many unexpected curves and I was diagnosed with cancer in '93 right after he retired and again in '97. It was not good the second time and all the doctors said I probably had a year, but with lots of prayers and finding great docs, I made it through and am cancer free today. ents and surgery's proved to be too much for our relationship. I say thank god for what I went through because it made me strong enough to do what was needed and start a new life. I live each day to the fullest and spend as much time with my boys as I can. My oldest still lives close to home and my youngest is pursuing his career in the culinary field. He is currently at Indiana University pursuing his bachlor's degree. I've always had to have someone to take care of, so since my boys are grown and don't need mom, I got two little pugs, Spanky and Rascal to keep me busy.
