Diana's Story
Life
Wow! Like everyone, life looks much different 13 years later!! One big change is that I am now called "Grammy" by the sweetest little girl in the world! I am enjoying my best life when I'm with her! She is the daughter of my oldest son and his beautiful wife. We are blessed!!
I'm still living in Suwanee Ga and enjoying my 3rd rescue dog. Still working but not as a nurse and not as many hours! Gotta make time for my grand girl! I have my own business making bows and other creative things and I just love it! I sell them at the store I work in, Living Well Farmers Market.
Some may remember my younger sister, Lynda Klein class of '80. She was diagnosed with lung cancer about 5 years ago but is still fighting and winning! She used to live in Barrington Il until her husband divorced her because he wasn't a big fan of the way her body was looking after her cancer treatments.....and he wanted to live a gay/bisexual lifestyle......I'll let you come to your own conclusion about that. Lynda is now living happily in TN which is only about 4 hours from me.

Cancer on Feb 6th 2009. It hasn't really sunk in yet because we didn't even know she was sick until Dec 23rd and then didn't even get a diagnosis until Jan 30th. We took her home under hospice care on Feb 4th and she lasted about 48 hrs at home. All my siblings and my step dad were with her when she passed away.....I can't imagine life without her!
I am married, 24 years to Greg. I have 3 handsome sons; Evan 20, Austin 17 and Brendan 12 plus my 4 legged son, Jackson. I live in Georgia and have been a registered Nurse for 27 years. I'd love to hear from you and get an update!
Evan is playing football at Valdosta State University here in Georgia. They won the NCAA DIV II national championship 2 years ago! We are very proud! Hoping to repeat this year!
He will be a camp counselor again this summer.
Austin is working "toying" with the High school thing and hopes to graduate at least by the time he turns 2o! After that, who knows what will happen.
Brendan is holding down the fort at home. He is an adorable and sweet soon to be 13year old. Brendan makes our home a happy place!
