Diana's Story

Life As of the Spring of 2015 My Spouse: I met my spouse 19 years ago at the video store where I was working. I was watching a Marx Brothers movie and he came in and did the best Groucho imitation I ever heard. My Pets: We are down to 1 cat now. My Kids: My son, born in 1966 has given me 2 grandchildren, a boy and a girl (both are in college now). My eldest daughter, Monica, is 38 and has a career in comput...Expand for more
ers. Monica has two little girls. My second daughter, Lora, is 34 and is a lawyer in N. CA. She has a boy,and three girls. My youngest, Sara, is 31 and is taking classes at the local JC. My career in art is doing very well, and I have written a book on how to do scratchboard art. You can see my scratchboard work on my site. Just google Diana Lee. John Barrymore was an actor from the famous Barrymore family. (Lionel, Ethel. etc) He was known as The Great Profile. I was just watching Music and lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, John Barrymore's granddaughter.
What a wonderful Christmas Eve I had. I love my family so much! We keep growing and growing. By the looks of it, with Erin's baby bump, we will have even more next year.

TBT...My Grandma, Cordellia Viola Louthan, circa 1918. This is the Grandma that crocheted the little white hat I have used in portraits of myself and my granddaughter, Danielle.
I must say I am having so much fun working on this! However I am eager to get the blinds out of the way so I can get to my main characters.
I really like the pearls through the glass stand the crystal ball is sittin on. I am thinking about leaving the sepia tint to the piece, but I may change my mind.
