Diana's Story

Wow, thats a big question asking someone for their story. Well, I should say for most people that is a big question. For me, not so much. I am as boring now as I was in school. Probably more so. But, if I fill it in with some mundane details, I guess it might fill up some space. So if you are really bored, READ ON: Well, like a lot of teenaged girls, I thought I knew better than my parents. When my Dad said I was making the biggest mistake of my life, I shrugged him off and got married at 18. Daddy was right and I was divorced by 19. I can only say THANK GOD! Well, thank God and thank Tina. You see, Tina was a friend of mine. She was unlucky enough to become impregnated by the ex so he had to divorce me to make her an honest woman. I dont really blame her, really! She was just what I was, young & dumb. She eventually got away from him too (good for her!) That was so long ago; it seems like an old nightmare now, like it never really happened. I guess that is because not very long after that I met the most stubborn, tenacious man anyone could ever know. He was pure crazy, and I couldnt help but notice him. It is cute how we met...well, to me it is. Anyway, I was on my first date with some guy - I cant even remember his name. A bunch of us met up at a friends apartment. Then this guy walked in and I was dazed. He was so tall and so intimidating that of course I was immediately drawn to him. Within a few minutes I told a friend how I would like to meet him. She laughed and said he had already told her he wanted to meet me! In no time at all we were dating. He actually told me on our first date that he loved me and on our second he asked me to marry him! Scared me off...ALMOST! He was right and now we have been married for 24 years. We have a beautiful daughter (no, *I* am not prejudice!) She has been a joy, a very unique person. We are blissfully awaiting her first child, my first grandchild! Nicholai is due to come to us on July 4th, but I expect he will be early. My belief is he will come June 16, 2008 and I cant wait to see him. I got on this thing out of pure curiosity, wondering who was where and what everyone is up to these days. Its funny, even people I didnt talk to or even know, just knew of them, I am still curious. Or nosey. Or both, LOL. Anyway, when I look through and see pictures I cant even place some of the people until I look up their names. SO, I am gonna give this "Story Wizard" a whirl... 1-How do you hope old fr...Expand for more
iends remember you? Well, I'd be shocked if much of anyone remembered me. Seemed like I was always quiet and in the back, hiding. 2-I always wanted to be a __ when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a __ idea. As it turns out, they were __ Could not say...I don't think I know NOW what I wanna be when I grow up. 3-How do you blow off steam? Describe your favorite way to relax. Well, I am a BIT compulsive. So, if I start into something I am hooked. Right now I am stuck on the sudoku puzzles. I love doing them! 4-What's the wildest thing you ever did in school? HAHAHAHAHA! 5-If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have __ , __ , and __ to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Gotta have smokes. Yeah, yeah, it is SO un-PC these days to be a smoker. Too bad! I am not a PC kinda person but I surely am an addictive personality. Try them and am now hooked. Also have to have pop. Diet Pepsi is my choice, ice cold. I also need my weekends. Down time is very important. I am too old to do the 24/7 work thing, I had enough of that. 6-Do you have a hero? Talk about where your inspiration comes from. Hero...I dunno. I guess I look up to different people for different things. Family mostly. 7-Where have you lived? Why did you move? Got out of Clarksville for a very short time, came right back home. Now I live across the street from where I grew up. 8-The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is __ , because __ . See? No, I would rather chat online. Probably because I am still basically shy and online I dont much care what I say to who. Anyway, there was these kids in grade school, I think their names were Jonathan Bowman, Jimmy Grossman. I think that is because Jonathan always seemed to be on top and I wonder if he still is, and Jimmy was so funny, always making people laugh. David Baggerly was always a riot too. Several girls, just wondering if they are ok, their kids, if they have any, and such; Rita Vest, Sharon Shepherd, and for some reason Shawna Isgregg and Karen Graniger, although I don't ever remember hanging with either of them. 9-Sports. Reality TV. Pets. Share your obsessions. OBSESSIONS???? Oh boy is that a bad question! If I have done it, I was (or am) obsessed with it. 10-Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? Hmmm, have to think about that one and get back to this... To all who were bored enough to read this...awww, poor things! : ) THANKS!
