Life
2005 update I am currently in my 19th year teaching in the Granite District Young Parent Program I have been married to Bruce Garrard for 23 years-we met and married at Utah State University. We have 5 children our oldest daughter married Bryan Nicholes last November, she is also a nursery teacher at the school I teach in and she is expecting our first grandchild in April 2006. Our oldest son Nathan is servng an LDS Mission in the Hiroshima Japan Mission-he studied Japanese a year before he was called there so he is happy to be there. Our 15 year old Alex is a Sophomore at Cyprus High School and is on the swim team as well in the school play dancing and singing (he had the Napoleon Dynamite dance down which helped him with dancing he and his friends listen to everything we did in High School whih is the only reason I know any of the songs) My twins Sydn...Expand for more
ey Kate and Ryan are in the 4th grade and have a variety of interests #1 being bugging each other. My Dad Calvin Criddle passed away of a sudden heart attack January of 2003, my Mom Margene Criddle passed away 18 months later September 2004 of ALS or Lou Gehrigs disease. Her disease gave me the opportunity to spend more time in Downey caring for her and getting to be there when people visited her-and being her voice because the ALS took her voice. Since then I am still in touch with those people who I came to know and love. We sold my parents home in Downey but to continue to have a "place to go" in Downey I spent most of the last summer cleaning and restoring the house we had grown up in "Grant Ward"
south Downey for a get away. My kids and our friends have loved it up there. I have a new appreciation of everything, especially Marsh Valley and Downey.
