Diane Carroll:  

Went to Illinois State, business management degree. Worked my way through college running the front end of a grocery store. Married one year out of college to my best friend Mark (we celebrate 40 years on June, 2019). Did library research immediately after college to find a warm, intelligent, alive place to live and raise a family. Austin, Texas won easily. Quit our jobs and moved. Lived there the better part of 29 years. Began teaching entrepreneurship and start up. Started three businesses there (bookkeeping service, business brokerage service, and my latest company: Maverick Center which uniquely identifies, supports and develops positive life changes regarding livelihood, life, or making a life count). At the end of 2008, we moved to California and lived 13 blocks from the ocean. Kids are grown (and awesome). Oldest son, Michael, is married (grad school at Hong Kong University, threw a wedding in China, now lives in New York, is an old soul, entrepreneur and tech guru).
