Diane's Story
Life
Went to Champlain from 1970 - 1975. Got married to a guy in the service in 1976 and went to Germany for four years. What a great time that was! We had one son born over there and then had our second boy in Edmonton, Alberta. Since then we have lived in Greenwood, Nova Scotia and then Shilo, Manitoba. After that we went to Toronto for ten years. Our next stop was in Trenton, Ontario. We spent three years there and then just got a transfer back to Petawawa where my husband will finish up his career. We bought a house in Pembroke and that is where we will retire at. I am not moving again, I hope.
My oldest boy, David, is a helicoptor pilot and has been in the service for nine years now. He lives in Cold Lake, Alberta and seems...Expand for more
to really enjoy it out there. He plays a lot of sports, so this seems to keep him busy and out of trouble.
My youngest boy, Chris, is also in the service. He is in his fourth year at the Royal Military College and is in the army. He went to Guelph University for two years, but finally got accepted into RMC so decided to start all over again and go there. He is very happy with his choice so far. He loves to play hockey and is in his second year of playing rugby, which he really loves.
My husband plays a lot of hockey and we are both golfing again. We really enjoy playing and have met a lot of nice people on the golf course.
That is about it for what I have been doing for the past 32 years. Wow is that ever a long time!!
