Diane's Story
Life
My big ambition in life right after highschool was to marry my childhood sweetheart (who was also my first and only serious boyfriend) and stay home and raise a bunch of kids. We did get married in July of 1957, but I worked for a few years as a secretary at Sears, Roebuck on Homan and Arthington until I had our first of three daughters. d off until he passed away on September 11, 1967. I worked at Presbyterian St. Lukes, again secretarial, until I remarried my present husband Len Minarcik on August 15, 1971. I continued working part time until our son was born on 7-7-77. Then I got to be a stay at home Mom until I became a travel agent in 1984 to present. We have enjoyed traveling and are anticipating a move to Del Webb Sun City Huntley in November. Kids are all gone and we enjoy 6 grandchildren. Life is good.
