Diane's Story
Moved from Toledo in 1983 to Texas and then in 1986 to the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC where we owned a building supply business. I have 2 children, a boy and girl, and 4 grandkids. They all live near me.
I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and returned to work when the youngest was 9.

ed Rotary International Convention as our local incoming president.
Lost my husband in 2008 but I’ve been enjoying retirement for 10 years and travel often in an RV.
Built a new house with a view of Grandfather Mountain in 2019 so it wasn’t that difficult spending most of my time at home during the pandemic. I got to design my dream kitchen where I love to bake, cook and try new recipes. One of the bedrooms is transformed into my sewing and craft room.
