Diane's Story
Life
My life has been an eclectic time so far. Lots of fun adventures, great jobs, interesting classes in college - and I recently moved back to southern CA from Seattle. I'm married; have lived in Seattle, Washington for 20+ years; I currently work for a large financial institution; have two sons, ages 28 and 30; love to travel and read.

School
I started off at St. Pauls's in Pomona, CA. in early grade school. When we moved to Ontario, I was in the 4th grade and went to another Episcopal church school there. When that school decided to not have higher grades after I finished 5th grade, I attended a Catholic school in Montclair for one year, Our Lady of Lourdes - 6th grade. Then I started 7th grade at Vernon Junior High. High School was Chaffey High in Ontario until my parents moved right before my senior year. I ended up graduating during night school and then moved on to college. After several community colleges, and time off to have two kids, I graduated with a BA in Business from Seattle University in 1991. After a few years off from school, working full time throughout all of this since high school, I graduated from Regis University with a MBA.

If I had to do it over again? I'd finish high school at Chaffey if I could have worked that out. That's about the only thing I'd do differently.
One funny memory from 7th grade was filling up an entire classroom with wadded-up newspaper almost to the ceiling. Then we waited to see the reaction on the face of our Math teacher when he walked in the door. He wasn't very happy, but we all laughed. They had to move us to another room for class... School dances at that time were fun, too.
I didn't like school too much when I was younger, it was much too social at the time for me to concentrate. As I got in to my 20s, I realized that I loved learning and school was the place to be.
I feel like education continues, or should, throughout your life. You may get that formally through schools, or you may just gain knowledge through life and the things you do each day.
As far as the other information that they suggest you post on this section, My biggest crush - not on the internet.... the only teacher that comes to mind who was truly inspirational was someone I had at Regis, Kathleen Dudek, and I stay in touch with her still today.
