Diane's Story
After graduating from Bethel High in 1965, I went to work for American Enka Corp. for a few years. I married Steve Clark in 1968 he was also was a graduate of Bethel and graduated in 1963. We had two children, a daughter Krista and a Son Tim. We moved north of Atlanta in 1969 where Steve worked for Lockheed Aircraft until he got on with Bordens Dairy in Atlanta. ved to Charleston, SC and then 1982 back to Asheville until 1986. The last years were spent in Jacksonville, Fl. until Steve passed away in 2004. I moved back to NC in 2006 and married another good old Bethel boy Mike Cochran in 2007 and he passed away in 2009. I am still in Canton, NC and so are my two children. I worked in banking most of my years but the last 20 years until I retired in 2008 were spent in dental office. I have four grandchildren and one great grandson.
