Diane's Story
Just a few notes:
Lived in North Reading, MA, until August of 1963. Attended Batchelder Elementary school.
Moved to Southington, CT, in 1963, & attended South End Elementary School for 6th grade, Kennedy Junior HS for 7th-9th, & Southington HS, graduating in 1970.
Graduated from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY with a B.A. in English, & N-6 Elementary Ed. Certification in May 1974.
Lived & taught in Southington, Ct from 1974-1980, (Central Elementary School-grade 2).

d Steven range in age from almost 29 (twins) down to 19.
I taught Pre-School/Pre-K for 13 years, until our little Catholic School closed in June of this year. I feel fortunate to have taught these little angels all these years, and hope, MAYBE, to return to teaching in the future. It has been a good life so far. Who knows where the next years may lead?
Oops! Forgot to mention that I've been raising Monarch butterflies. I actually go out to find eggs and caterpillars and feed them, clean their living environment, wait until they emerge from their chrysalides, and then tag and release them. I belong to what's called the Monarch Teacher Network. This gives me much joy and reminds me of the miracle of life
