Life After High school, I joined the Navy. Went through Boot Camp and RM "A" School, and was medically discharged from there. I got married the first time while I was in the Navy. I married for the second time a year and a half later, and we were married for over four years before I filed for divorce. I have two children from my second marriage, and I have one other child from another relationship. I am currently separated from a wonderful man who I make better friends with than husband and wife. The kids and I are now living on the East side of King County, looking forward to new adventures together. In 2010, my oldest was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. He had previously been diagnosed as adhd and bipolar (the bipolar was a misdiagnosis). His brother shows many of the same symptoms, and we have a tentative diagnosis of High Functioning Autism (because the Asperger's dx will be going away with the DSM V when it comes out next year), and their sister is adhd as well. ADHD is being added to the autism spectrum as of DSM V, so I am dealing with all three of my children being on the autism spectrum. We are now trying to figure out life with three kids with special needs. Once upon a time, I was a very passionate Christian, but have found my spiritual home on an eclectic Pagan path. I'm more grounded, centered and at peace with my life than I ever have been. While I was in the military, I found others who believed and felt the same way I always had, and they introduced me to their ways. I still respect God, but know that His church is not for me.
