Didi G's Story
Life
Since 1972 I've been a member of the Soka Gakkai International, a Nichiren Buddhist lay organization.
Twice divorced, our adult daughter is currently also living in MD. Now there's a grandson Nicholas, born 19 Septemebr, 2013 .
I'm yet still Didi-just more so!
College
After graduation from Ullman, Howard University (Washington, DC) took over my formal education as I stayed there for undergrad., med. school and Psychiatry Residency. You know you're old when you've been out of Medical School for 46 years. And undergrad for 50 ! It's been so very interesting returning to the near-DC area after 20+ years on the other coast (CA). ks are still here; others too have returned. I've run into old HU schoolmates; some even date back to Ullman and Center Street . BTW, Center Street was on the list for closing in 2013 & I think it did. Being in the first 1st grade class at Center Street I am deeply PO’ed about that.
In March I was 70 & I am not in great shape because I dropped exercise and healthy eating from my life at the start of this millennium. Take it from a woman who knows; DON’T DO THAT ! Your health will jst walk away from you. Trust me. I have to miss ALL of the reunions this year. Check with me to see how things are coming along. I’m planning to get back to using my good sense again later today .
