Dina's Story
Life
I got married in 1996 and we have two daughters born in 1999 and 2003. We moved from the city to the NW 'burbs in 2004. Now we're busy sinking more and more into the money pit! Ah, the joys of homeownership. I am a self-employed accountant. I love being my own boss and not punching a clock. My husband is an elementary school band teacher. He loves having his summers free now that he's done with grad school. Our girls are delightful! We are active in our church and have a tight-knit group of friends who we've been close to since we were dating. We have two cats.
So, I'm a suburban mini-van driving mom and I love it!
My parents have retired and spent half the year near Tampa and half the year here in Illinois. My brother, Steve, lives near Wilmington IL.

ge in the summer of '06 and the people who live in the house where I grew up happened to be out in the yard. So, I introduced myself and they gave me a tour of the old house. The weirdest thing was how little had changed, and I think these were the 4th people to own the house since my parents! If anyone remembers the mural that Gene Zima had painted on the garage door, when my parents had to replace the door, they hung the old door on an inside of the wall to save the mural. It's still there! It was so great to see it.
I'd love to hear from anyone from the old days. I don't think you'd recognize me! I'm just really different from the high school and college versions of me -- probably more like I was when I was little. In other words, never drunk, pretty happy and living in the 'burbs!
