Hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth!! Our neighborhood has a parade every year. We decorated the little electric car. It was a fun day and a very long one--can't be thankful enough for our many, many blessings.
This was taken through our storm door at the height of our hail storm tonight. What a storm. Quarter size hail sounded like it was coming from all directions inside the house .
When we had Allison's girls with us a couple of weeks ago, Victoria instigated making this plate for me. I love it!!

April 2012 picture of the Deen grandchildren. It is hard to get 5 under 6 years to cooperate but we thought we did fairly well.
Enjoyed concert and fireworks tonight at TCU Frog Fest for Homecoming weekend!
We said good bye to our precious Spookie yesterday. She was born at our house in Georgia the day we took possession and for four years was an outdoor feral cat. When we started packing to move, she sneaked inside one day
Another successful Fourth of July Parade! Decorating the golf cart is definitely a high point in the day. It has been a great celebration. Happy 4th to all.
Our lake this morning!!
Sharing our lovely Japanese maple to wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving!
We went outside to head to church this morning and found a surprise. Our neighbor’s shade tent was evidently lifted by the wind last night over his 12foot fence and down into our driveway n striking our car in the process.
Another successful Fourth! We love our neighborhood traditions—the parade, lunch at the pool, swimming, chicken dinner followed by a spectacular talent show!! So tired but looking forward to sweet dreams of all the fun of
