Dixie's Story
I completed my education at AIB in Des Moines while working at Farm Bureau as a Key Punch Operator. After Farm Bureau, I worked as an Assistant to Bob Allen Outdoor Gunclub Sportswear, then onto a Sales Representative at Pitney Bowes- ended up my career in Personnel as VP at Personnel Incorporated downtown Des Moines in the Ruan Building. Retired from there to work on my Herbology and Iridology certifications which has allowed me to be self employed and am now the owner of Dixie Inc. where I do nutritional consultations for people seeking bett...Expand for more
er health without the use of prescription drugs and or sometimes surgery. I find this a challenging and very rewarding career.
I lost my daughter, Darla in 2011 who was brain injured from the DPT shot, have 2 successful sons living in the Des Moines and Earlham areas whom I stay very connected to. I have 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I am single and live in a townhome in Waukee which I dearly love and try to entertain when the opportunity arises.
