Dixie's Story
Life
I moved to Arkansas in the middle of my senior year to graduate in Huntsville. I went to college in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I married my husband, Jim, in 1984 and we travel when we can, We've been to almost every state in the union. I love to camp, travel, and play with my grandkids.
I have two beautiful daughters, two "cowboy" grandsons, & one new granddaughter.
I had to take an early retirement because of 4 surgeries on my back and I am a cancer survivor of 15 yrs. I had to have the titanium rods put in my back in 2007 and feel better than I have in years. I tell the kids I'm their "Bionic Mema"!

isiting with friends and family. The
g-boys and I explore the "ranchette" and country roads on 4-wheelers (ATV's). When my husband retires we plan to go fishing in Canada and catch the big one!
We have a home on top of a mountain with a wonderful view. We have lots of wild life and pets, from horses to fish, mountain lions, bears and lots deer. We have 4 seasons that change our view every few months.
We have a large lake nearby, but it's not the same as the Pacific ocean. I miss Ventura and still visit as often as I can and enjoy every moment. I have to have my "beach fix"!
