Diane (Dj)'s Story
Life
Life has been great to me in the years since Eastridge High and Alfred State. I own a home on Hartsdale Rd. where I live 50 feet from the home I grew up. I live here with my 12 year old son, and my partner, Paula Amico (Greece Grad).
In grade school I was diagnosed with Colon polyps which require the removal of my large intestines in 2001 and my stomach in 2003. In 2004 I started on a medical trial to stop the polyps and have been receiving large doses of Estrogen. The Meds have stopped the growth and Paula and I have decided to...Expand for more
remain on the meds the remainder of my life. Due to the changes I am Transgendered and will live the rest of my life as Diane.
College
I was the one who always said I was not going to college! Then came Alfred State College, and now at age 47 I am still a student enrolled at R.I.T. for Telecommunication Engineering.
Workplace
Shortly after Alfred State I moved down to Philadelphia, PA. In 1988 was hired by Xerox Corp. I transferred to Rochester, NY in 1991. I am a Field Engineer. I am tasked with resolving fax issues in the U.S.
