Djoanna's Story
Life
After highschool I took a year off to think what kind of life and most of all my major will be. Fall of 98 I still didn't know what I wanted to be, so I went from Physical Therapist, Teacher, and after taken some Psychology classes I decide to become a Child Therapist. Went to Trident Tech for 2 yrs where I receieved my Associates in Science. Got into a terrible car accident that cause me to have a major scare on my face and screws in my right ankle. So took a Summer and Fall of 99 off to recover and do my physcial therapy so I could walk and drive again. Went to Charleston Southern University for year and half. Which I had to stop for while at CSU, for that school wasn't for me. I was dating a Navy guy that I never thought I would ...Expand for more
be more then dating. But on Feb 12, 2001 we got engaged. Oct 16, 2001 we had a small wedding due to 3 months later we were expecting our first child, Julianne Michelle born on 1-10-02 and we were moving to Norfolk, VA July 2002 where hubby was stationed on USS Truman.
I did online classes at Phoenix of Arizona Univ got my BS and my Masters.Which I was so hard being away from close family and friends while attending college online while raise a child.
July 12, 2004 we had a son, Zachary. Also became a future soccer mom, I gave up sedan car for a mini van. LOL
Nov 21 2006 we had our last child. Zachary at which I upgraded from mini van soccer mom to SUV PTA mom. LOL
Now we are just waiting on shore duty orders to Charleston, SC.
