Living with my mother in the lap of leisure and luxury......not! LOL I'm a single mom of three sons. I grew up in Floyd County, Virginia and returned to Floyd from NC to help family members that needed me. I stayed on to help so Mom wouldn't be alone. I enjoy being here with Mom but to be honest I do miss living closer to the conveniences of town. Still, the beauty of rural Floyd County is great consolation!
My favorite jobs I've ever had are as a college instructor teaching communication classes and as a learning specialist to college students that learned differently or with particular challenges.
