Dom's Story
Life
I retired from the federal government in 2007 after 31 years, the past 17 in the federal senior executive service. My last position was as the CIO for the US National Park Service. That job took me to many of the most beautiful places in America and I am proud to be a retired NPS employee.
After retiring, I landed a great position as the CIO for Los Angeles World Airports, which manages LAX, the fifth busiest airport in the world, Ontario Inter...Expand for more
national and Van Nuys, the world's busiest general aviation airport. As the CIO for LAX, I have been invited to speak around the world on IT, in such places as Frankfurt, Shanghai, Lisbon, Cannes and Brussels.
In 2009, I was named as one of Governmnet Technology's 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers. In 2010, I was named one of Computerworld's Premier 100 IT leaders.
I have a Master's degree from University of Colorado and two undergraduate degrees.
