Dominic's Story
Life
After high school I left Utah in search of riches in Southern California. I lived there working and going to school. I got my Associates degree and I joined LAPD in 88, and discovered I really didn't like the cop thing. I met my husband who was a captain in the Air Force. Had my son Chris in 93 in long beach. We moved to Ohio, then to Alabama. My second son Daniel was born in 97 in Alabama. From there we moved to Texas, Virginia, and then Irvine California. We built our home in Corona California and live here now. I am a stay at home mom now, and love it. I volunteer at the boys school and homeless shelters. I ran a half marathon in San Francisco with my sister for my 40th birthday. I spend time playing softball on a coed team. I play golf with my husband when we are not attending little league games, tennis lessons, basketball...Expand for more
practice or any other activities the kids have. My husband retired from the military 20 years. He set up a law practice where I run the office. I promised myself that I would finish my degree before my oldest finishes high school. Well, he is a Freshman this year, so you know what I am doing next. Of course I will find time to go snowboarding with the family. Not a very exciting life, but I love it. I make it back to Utah once in a while, but I would rather spend my vacations in other parts of the country. It sucks getting old, but I am having fun. Hard to believe I have been out of high school so long.
