My wife of forty-seven years, Shirley, and I have two daughters. Kim, our eldest, lives in Birmingham with her husband, Tim Moore, and their daughter, Kayla (14). Kim is employed at a local law firm.

d their two children, Nick (12) and Allie (9). She teaches Special Education in the Huntsville City School System.
Shirley serves as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Homewood.
Health problems forced my retirement from the full-time pastorate on July 4, 1999. On October 1, 2002, I had cardiovascular surgery (five bypasses). I am currently trying to recover from this surgery.
