Don's Story
I retired in 2008 after 40 years in education, the last 21 as Vice Principal at Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley High Schools in Wayne (Passaic County), NJ. I co-own (with my wife Marietta (Pizzi - also OLV Class of 1964) Dorflinger's Antiques and Collectibles at the Lafayette Mill Antiques Center, 12 Morris Farm Rd., Lafayette, NJ 07848. Two daughters: Jennifer Leigh (b. 5/23/76 - Graduated Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY 5/98 - MS in Nursing. Married to Christopher Peck - our first grandchild, John Edmund Hammerle (Jack) born August 10, 2005); Jack's brother Matthew Ryan arrived on April 16, 2008; Sister Faith Ann Peck on December 8, 2013; Karen Elizabeth (b. 12/08/81 - Graduated Bloomsburg (PA) University 5/04 with BA in English). Married September, 2007 to Ron Raphael. Daughter Ella Rae born July 7, 2013; Son Nicholas Andrew, born October 30, 2015.
