USA ( esp the rocky mountains) and going Gold mining ( especially finding it in large quantities ) . Entering my 8th decade soon - yes guys 70 is our 8th decade - old injuries and some not so old have slowed me down a bit but I pack my cane and the Advil and live to travel. I especially enjoy reunions and contacts with old friends and classmates. I enjoy watching my sons grow to men finally making their own way. They think they know it all and the old man is totally out to lunch (just like I did when I was their age) but have been coming to the realization that maybe Dad wasn't so dumb after all. I've been active selling Real Estate since 1986 and was joined by my brother David in 1997. Over the years my realty sales have resulted in numerous awards and recognitions including my sales recognition as among Top One Percent of Real Estate Sales Reps in the World -- I especially enjoy reunions and contacts with old classmates. I've loved my journey through life to date - Despite all the bumps I've encountered along the way I must say "I have been blessed by having an extra gardian angle watching over me !" I drowned while white water rafting in 1991 ( saw the light but was revived) was in a severe boating accident in the Dominican Republic in 1996 ( thrown from boat and chewed up by the props) and took bad crash off roading a motorcycle in 2008,plus 2 other fluke type weird motorcycle accidents that almost cost me my leg and other which destroyed my shoulder- Have done the northern Ontario, Western Canada NW USA motorcycle runs plus couple of Southern USA and East Coast runs with my buddy Art but have reached decision time to sell and stay on 4 wheels. I've been blessed with coming to the early realization that this life is to be lived and that the opportunity to do so is short - that this life is not a dress rehershal we get to do a " DO OVER" with. Money is important, but Family and Friends are far more so. When the downs in life come it is the Family and friends that get you through - Life is too be lived - learning to enjoy play, as a way of life, and being caring to your family and friends - are the two most important things you can do - Who'd have Thunk or guessed what life had instore for this small town farm boy - I guess that vision of becoming Prime Minister is just still waiting to happen !
