Don's Story
To my old classmates, this being August 2015, don't know how many are left of the class of 1948 to recall the wild and immature being I was; however, I do have the moments I think back of my chums (ie., Rush Titus, Maryln Daniels, Nancy Methaney (sp), Ann Fulrath, Sue Welsh, Bill Kunhe, Kyle Robinson, Harold Scott (I learned that he died about 3 years ago, I think) and so many, many more. or the NASA Manned Space Flight Program after 25 years in 1988. Took up a second career with the National Park Service as a Park Ranger/Historian 1993 -2007. Written several articles for magazines, newspapers, and two fairly recent books, "Valor Wore A Green Sash" released 2006 and "Thirteen Months at Manassas/Bull Run - The Two Battles and Confederate and Union Occupations", released in 2013. I have two sons, Jeff, Copper Mine in Tucson, AZ, and Robin, a computer engineer with an Oil Refining Company, he lives in Hudson, WI.
