After DGHS I spent 2 years hating the college experience. I was no better as a student after high school than I was during our high school years. I was diagnosed with ADD at age 59. I now know why school was such a problem. I got married in December, 1965 and reported for active duty in the Navy in February, 1966. My discharge from active duty was in late November, 1969. 18 months of my enlistment saw me serving as part of the "brown water" Navy in Vietnam. My wife and I had a daughter in 1970 and a son in 1973. We divorced in 1982. I remarried in 1984 to a woman who is truly my soulmate. I spent the majority of the years from 1970 until 1983 in the banking business at small, independent banks in Illinois.
