Donald's Story
After I graduated from Keene High School I went to Keene State for a year then into the USAF for three years. I then went back to college, and received a degree in marketing, worked for my parents for a few years before starting my own business in 1980.
My wife, Lynn, and I have been married since 1972. We were childhood sweethearts in NJ before I moved to Keene. We have three children; Jody (daughter), Jason and Jeremy. The boys are twins. Jeremy has been married since 2004. He and his wife have two children. Jody and Jason were both married in June of 2009. Jody's wedding was on the 20th, Jason's was on the 27th. I work at my woodworking business for about nine months. It is then closed down so I can work full time as a Ski Instructor at a local resort. Lynn loves it, as it keeps me busy and helps to keep my weight under control.
No real health issues except for a titanium knee, right knee, which was the result of an injury received while refereeing a soccer game and a cadaver MCL in the same knee due to a ski accident in 2010.
While I live in Virginia now, I usually return to the NE area once a year to receive additional training related to my job as a ski instructor. When I have returned to Keene, it has been enjoyable to drive around to areas I frequented to see all the changes.
Lynn and I love to spend time together both in the business and working around our house in Afton, VA
