Life
After High School I was in Boot Camp on 30May78, which is or was my past my EAOS,(End of Active Obligated Service), for you civilians. After more electronics schools in the navy. I went to Alameda , CA. Were they keep the nuclar Wessals! (Star Trek) get it! I was on the Coral Sea , (aircraft carrier) for three years and just had one minor nervous breakdown! Those guys tried to work me to death. I over stressed myself.
I should of had more than one nervous breakdown! I wasnÂt the only one who was wigging out onboard. Not being old enough to drink caused it. I was able to drink when I went to NAS Kingsville, TX in 82. Thats were the pilots get there wings for doing touch and goes on the runways. They were getting ready for bird farm duty. I commissioned a ship out of Bath , Maine . The Kauffman, last of the frigates, FFG-59. I think she is still in operation, or we sold it to another country by now.
I hated all five years on that haz-gray and underway all the time piece of s___t! Next tour of duty was civlant, lol, or civilian duty. I got out and was living in Canada for 10 months. I married a Canadian when I was in TX. She only loved me when I was out to Sea!
I came back in the Navy, in 91, during the first Gulf war, I was station on the Concord , supply ship, out of Norfolk . Next duty station was the Special Operation Unit out of Little Creek Amphib. Base. I spent some time over in Sarajevo , Bosnia , then off to the Cal Lab were I had my accident. I fell and blew out my spine at T-9 back in 98.
