Donald's Story
Life
After graduating a year early from Homestead, I attended the University of Southern California and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration (Major in Accounting). I went to work for one of the Big 4 Accounting firms and obtained my CPA license. I then went back to law school and passed the California Bar. I founded an investment banking firm and opened offices in Los Angeles, Denver, New York and London. I sold my firm and started my own law firm which was located in Santa Monica for 20 years and is now headquartered in Newport Beach. I also have offices in LA, New York, Washington, DC and London. I live in Irvine and have 3 great children. tal in Santa Monica and her husband is a physician at VA in Westwood. My middle one (daughter) graduated from USC in 2012 and Georgetown Law School in 2015 and practiced law in New York City on Wall St for 5 years. She moved to Santa Monica in July 2020 and now practices in Century City. My youngest (son) graduate from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and worked for a hedge fund in New York City until July 2020. He's now a second year grad student at UCLA in the MBA program.
I also have a private equity firm (InterCap Partners) and invest in companies that need growth capital and are candidates to go public. We have recently acquired a jet charter company and Englebrecht Promotions & Events (#fightcluboc), the 9th largest boxing promotion company in the U.S.
