Donald's Story
After graduating from St. John's, I attended Richmond Hill High School and graduated in 1971. I attended Adelphi University in Garden City, L.I. and graduated with a B.S. in Physical Education. I received an assistantship at the University of Michigan and completed an M.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1976. I worked at the University of Michigan Hospitals as a research associate in cardiology and and studied the effects of diet and exercise on heart disease risk factors and diabetes. ity and received an MBA in 1984 while working in my family's business. I left New York in 1984 and starting working at Boston University School of Medicine as the adminstrator for the Division Diabetes and Metabolism. Three years later I worked as the Manager of Grants and Contracts at the Boston Univeristy Medical Center Hospital. In 1992, I started work at Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) as a regulatory consultant for Higher Education and Research Institutions. I currently work at Lifespan in Providence RI as the Manager of Research Finance. I am married with three children, 19, 16 and 14 years old.
