Donald's Story
Life
After graduating from high school I worked as a bank teller for two years before joining the U.S. Navy. I spent 20 years on active duty; retiring in the fall of 1999. I was able to travel extensively and pretty much enjoyed the experience.
I now reside in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and work for Alliant Energy. I run the apprenticeship programs for Alliant's 13 fossil fuel power plants and 2 hydro-electric power plants in three s...Expand for more

I enjoy golfing in the summer, running each morning with my dog, and traveling.
I still have family in New York and try to get back a couple of times a year.
Two little know facts about living in Iowa. There are more pigs/hogs than humans and at the height of the corn growing season you can actually hear the corn grow on a calm, quiet evening!
