Donald's Story
After graduation worked at Carson Pirie Scott in Randhurst. Then I went up Libertyville to work in a mens clothing store. On Sept 25 1965, I enlisted in the USAF, spent four years in the AF. My base was Patrick AF base, Cocoa Beach, Fla. I was discharged Sept. 25, 1969. Started working for Allstate Ins. jobs, one that was the most interesting was that I worked for a detective agency.. While working there I had many exciting details, one assignment was that I was Ernie Banks body guard for a day,. Also had times where I was with Walter Payton an Richard Dent. I married my classmate from grade school, Kathy Joyner, we were married in 1994. We were married for 28 years until she passed away from pancreas cancer in Dec. 2022.
