Life
I served 4 years in the US Navy, stationed at Portsmouth VA Naval Hospital for 3 years, worked Neurosurgery and Anesthesia Dept, then 4 years in the Air Force. Worked in electronics communications at Norfolk Navy Shipyard Shop 67, retired in 1978, disabled with RF Radiation Sickness. Later was able to work a different trade, so I spent about 15 years in Maintenance and Environmental services in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and...Expand for more
retirement Homes. Am now fully retired, for the most part in good health, near Martinsville, VA. Still active. Have Neuropathy in both legs and feet, not much feeilng in them but still able to get around, sometimes with a cane, other times without. Don't want any pity, I'm not a quitter! We have a small herd of Alpacas now, this is good therapy. Would like to make contact with friends from long ago. Please write if you'd like.
